Motorcycle Live 2012

December 5th, 2012

The Motorcycle Live show is over, it is a strange feeling, we almost miss it! The build up for us is huge, it takes time to make sure brochures and flyers are printed, the stand correctly markets our services and promotes the type of ‘club’ we wish it to, exclusive and for the motorcycle enthusiast!

This year we feel we got it right, well nearly! The bikes we took did us proud, the Norton Commando and Bimota DB4 were real stars and the Ducati Diavel and BMW HP2 Sport were just as popular, pulling visitors to our stand daily. Next year we’ll have it bang on, the stand will be perfect just as the bike choices were!

The show was also a revelation to the motorcycling industry. After such a wet summer and an uncertain economy it was good to see the huge number of visitors arriving each day at the NEC. As ever the Ducati stand was swamped, our stand also had lots of on looks and the interest in our niche service was excellent. As we were opposite Victory it was really good to see just how popular their stand was as we’ll be having a Judge in 2013. Three new members joined us and we know there are more on the way.

On Monday morning we were pleased not to be up and off to stand all day on our plot at Motorcycle Live but in reality it is over all to quickly as for us, it’s the best time to sell to a public who seemed to be receptive to the services we provide and not so concerned about spending money!

Here’s to an excellent 2013 for all those who enjoy two wheels!
